What does an operations consultant actually do?

We look at how your business really runs. Not how you think it runs. Then we fix the bits that are quietly costing you time and money.

How do I know my business has outgrown its systems?

Things that used to just work now need three people and a prayer. If you're saying "we'll sort it properly when things calm down," they won't calm down. That's the sign.

What's the difference between an operations consultant and a management consultant?

Management consultants hand you a slide deck. We hand you a plan you can brief your team with on Monday morning. Different job.

How long does an operational audit take?

Two weeks. Long enough to see what's really happening. Short enough that you're not paying for someone to find their feet.

Do I need this if my business is growing fine?
Growing fine and growing sustainably aren't the same thing. Most people find out the hard way, at the worst possible time. Better to check now.
What size business is this for?

This is for whoever carries the operational weight, not just business owners. That might be a founder or MD, or it might be the person running their corner of something much bigger, without the same infrastructure underneath them.

As a rough shape rather than a hard rule, that's often a business turning over £1M to £10M with 10 to 50 people, or a division of a larger organisation carrying similar weight. Cracks showing, but still small enough to fix fast.

What happens after the audit?
You get a plain-English plan. What's broken, what to fix first, who owns it. No jargon, no 80-page report nobody reads. Ongoing work follows what we call the Momentum Loop: find it, lock it in, keep it, then do it again somewhere else.
