About Opsergo
Why do the same cracks keep showing, no matter how big you get?
Not a framework borrowed from a business school, and not a founder's memoir. We look at how your business actually runs, then fix what's quietly costing you time and money. Same problem, whether it's the whole business or just your corner of it.

/ How we see it
Why does the same problem keep showing up, no matter how big the business gets?
It's rarely about effort. The people are working hard. It's the systems and structure underneath them that haven't kept pace, and it happens whether you're running the whole business or just the corner of it that's landed on your desk. That's the pattern we keep finding, and it's the reason Opsergo exists.
Management consultants hand you a slide deck. We hand you a plan you can brief your team with on Monday morning.
“Every client we’ve worked with has been in some version of this position. Smart people, good businesses, just carrying more than the structure underneath them was built to handle. That’s not a character flaw, it’s a structural one.”
With your people
We work with your team, not above them, to build something they actually believe in.
Straight talking
Not a 40-slide deck. A clear plan you can act on this week if you want to.
Still there at the hard bit
We implement, track, adjust. We don’t disappear when it gets complicated.
/ How we work
No framework. No playbook. Just conversation.
Finding what's actually wrong doesn't come from a framework. Every business is different, so the questions have to be different too. We can't look at a business from the outside and know it's a logistics problem, a margin problem, or anything else. Nobody can. The real issues only show up once you start talking.
Before we even get on a call, we do the groundwork, the business, the market, what they're trying to get into. Then it's conversation. Sometimes that turns up something obvious that's been sitting there for years. Sometimes it takes longer to get to the real issue underneath the one you called us about.
Just people who've spent years inside operations, asking the right questions and knowing what to listen for. That's how we find the opportunities, and how we always will.
/ Who we are
Opsergo, since 2024.
Opsergo was founded in 2024 to do one thing well: find the money businesses are already losing, and fix what's causing it. No jargon, no 40-slide decks, no consultants who disappear once the report's written.
Growing businesses, at every stage
We work with SMEs, whatever stage they're at. Start-ups still finding their shape, scale-ups growing faster than their systems can keep up with, and everything in between. Most of what we see is a business turning over £1M to £10M with 10 to 50 people, cracks showing but still small enough to fix fast, but the pattern shows up earlier and later than that too.
Not for everyone
If your business already has the structure to sort this itself, or you're after a slide deck and a strategy session rather than someone who'll stay and get it done, we're probably not the right fit. We'd rather tell you that upfront.
Backed by a wider network
When a fix needs more than we can do in-house, we bring in the right people: an engineering partner network for bigger systems rebuilds, and freight and import partners when supply chain work is part of the picture. You get the depth without having to find and manage those relationships yourself.

What our clients say
“We brought Neil in for a quick-win audit expecting a list of recommendations. What we got was £50k of savings identified in the first week. It more than paid for itself before we’d even started the real work.”
“We’d been growing fast but nobody really knew who owned what. Neil gave us a clear org chart, defined roles and responsibilities properly, and helped us bring in a booking system that actually works. We finally feel like a business that can scale.”
“Neil helped me and the rest of the directors finally see the business clearly. We knew things weren’t running as well as they should. We just couldn’t agree on where to start. Neil came in as fractional Operations Director, cut through it, and got the whole leadership team aligned. We started with strategy, moved into execution, and he’s still working with us today.”
